Does exactly what it's supposed to. The screws snapped when trying to insall, but no big deal, just got better ones.

I bought this approximately one month ago and I'm glad I did!! Exactly what I was looking for so I could watch the birds, but not have to deal with the waste hitting the deck. My husband says it is so easy to refill the seeds and the birds seem happy.

I just purchased the Backyard Boys fly through feeder. A coat of Min Wax stain (to seal the wood) and then two coats of polyurethane satin finish. Seems to work well where we place it.

It's perfect for small birds. But it holds them at bay enough that the birds get a fair shot at the seed. It holds a lot of seed, and it does keep squirrels away for the most part; although nothing entirely works to keep squirrels out.
