I bought this because I needed to not have to fill the feeder more often than once a week to fit in my schedule. I had one for 5 or 6 years before I had to replace it with a new one.

I've been using this suet feeder hardware to make pileated woodpecker feeders for at least a dozen years. I ordered this last batch by mail because we recently moved away from Minnesota - to Massachusetts - and I can't find a local supplier.
