This style feeded is absolutely the best! The feeder 'blooms' are angled precisely right in order to allow the hummers to feed and not allow heavy rain to dilute the food. 8oz is the right size for enough nectar, but not so much it spoils before the hummers...

The red squirrels had a party inside of the feeder. Absolutely THE BEST squirrel proof feeder EVER!! Sturdy construction. It takes the songbirds a week or two to learn how to get into the suet but they do and it keeps the bad birds out.

This ones not make for a good bitrthday present. Beautiful glass work. I love this feeder. You have to put almost a full quart of liquid in just to get to the ports so you are continuously adding fluid just to keep it full enough, the rest of fluid goes...

The cleaning mops were so old the foam bristles had yellowed.

I found a different design that is more efficient, doesn't drip and the hummers can get more food. I purchased 2 sets of these. They seemed to like the flower right from the start even with two different style feeders being within a few feet.

PROS: Looks really nice. When I set to the most sensitive setting a small red squirrel had some trouble but a big, fat grey squirrel had no problem. Most importantly, it does NOT defeat squirrels.

Not worth the money The item was as described. Nothing but trouble with it. Received this as gift 1 yr ago, thought what a great idea. I like that it can feed more than the normal feeder.

Love this feeder. At this price, a must.only down side, birds prefer a perch, so we added a coated hanger piece thru middle, bent on each side now we get 4 birds at a time. Extremely durable.easy to hang and easy to fill.

I recharge them with some ant spray every couple months. I've been feeding all kinds of birds for 30 years, and this little ant stopper really works!!

I bought this feeder to replace an identical model that I'd purchased several years prior. So, if you buy one, also make sure you use Loctite to secure the stainless rod into the base of the feeder.
