This style feeded is absolutely the best! The feeder 'blooms' are angled precisely right in order to allow the hummers to feed and not allow heavy rain to dilute the food. Additionally the ant trap on the top works flawlessly.

I found a different design that is more efficient, doesn't drip and the hummers can get more food. They seemed to like the flower right from the start even with two different style feeders being within a few feet.

It is very well made and I am very happy with my purchase. Do wish the top of suet feeder was secured to the wire or something though. And, the price is GREAT! Thanks for having this product at Fleet Farm.

So, if you buy one, also make sure you use Loctite to secure the stainless rod into the base of the feeder. Due to wind, the feeder twisted the feeder off the stainless connecting rod and the feeder fell to the ground, shattering the plastic.

Not squirrel-proof. The doors that come down to shut off access when a squirrel stands on the perch are PLASTIC and the squirrels just chew through them and can the eat as much as they want.
