I will never purchase this brand again! That one fell apart in two weeks. This feeder falls apart easily, even when it's exposed to harsh weather. I bought one, and it fell apart within a WEEK of having it hanging outside.

I glued it back together and took pieces of the old feeder so I have functional feeder again. So, if you buy one, also make sure you use Loctite to secure the stainless rod into the base of the feeder.

Also, lowering, refilling, and raising the feeder can be done without any sort of step or ladder. This hanger allowed me to easily relocate our bird feeder so the deer could not reach the feeder.

The only way they could all eat was to pour the seed on the sidewalk where even the black bird would join them. Is well made and sturdy and should last many years. The blue plate I take out and use for water it is two bad it does not come with its own...

Small squirrels climbed the pole right up through the slinky and came out the top stretched out part. Frustrates the dickens out of the squirrels. Nice try but no cigar on this one.
