Very tolerant to heat and cold. Beet roots reach 2-3″ round and are most tender harvested early. Inside flesh is deep red-maroon with pink rings inside. Use the leaves and root in salads for excellent contrast.

Very prolific and good keeper. Beets are perfectly round with no rings or streaks. Has 13-16″ greens that are wonderful mixed into salads. Detroit Dark Red has blood red flesh that is very sweet and tasty.
