They currently have 30,000 miles on them and still have about a 1/4" of tread. I should easily be able to get another 2 winters out of mine. I am going to swap them out for this winter, i am worried about deep snow and slush.

We've had a few weeks of 2+ feet of snow and I can't believe how well these do in the deep snow. I think I'll keep them on part way into summer to get the last bit of tread out of them and replace them next year.

I have news for everyone, tires designed to have good grip (I.e. better stopping, better cornering, safer in an emergency maneuver) will wear out faster than a tire with less grip.

Will be buying more of these in the future for sure! One of the best tires I have ever owned, pulls good in mud, wears great, long tread life. Not a loud hum, but it does have a noticible increase from an all terrain.

I think the ride is better, especially on the highway. Handled great, wore evenly, no Green Tire Squishy like Michelin is known for. Occasionally pull a trailer with between 3-6,000 lbs.

Mud is no concern. Very good in snow. WOW!! great feeling like you are planted to the ground! Great ride, great looks and compliments. I bought a set of STT Pros to replace the KMTs I had on my Jeep and all I can say is what a huge difference.

They provide a great wide and weather however the wear is terrible. '12 Highlander Limited. I put these on my Ram 1500 a couple years ago. Doesn't seem like a good-wearing tire to me.

I could have reached 100,000 on this first set of Defenders but I do have my limits. My previous LTX MX 2 tires were a perfect ride! Trying to figure out to get help from manufacturer to resolve it.
