Best tires I've ever owned! Looking to buying another set. I was impressed, and continued to remain impressed. My next purchase will be another set of Defenders, without question. 245-75-17s (with "E" duty rating).

We drive mostly on paved highways, but have a short gravel driveway. I haven't found a better all around tire anywhere and you can't beat the price either. The tires need replacing already and are now horrible for the Wisconsin Winter we are having.

Just turned 25K and they are almost wore out (might get 5 more K). Like other reviewers, I was willing to pay more for these tires in consideration of the riding comfort and increased tire life.

They make the KMTs feel like slicks offroad. Mud is no concern. Very good in snow. I have a heavy F350 crew cab 4WD and they have worn fastbut I knew they would with that truck and West Virginia's "country roads".

But my new set will be coopers. On our way out was a very steep hill, was able to get up and out of there. 35K miles and still have plenty of tread left !! They look good, handle great and aren't noisy.

I have a set of super sports on my Audi R8, when I push the turns very aggressively, I feel totally safe and confident at max G forces, not even a chirp from my pilot sports. I had them replaced with a completely different brand of tires.

Michelin has obviously reduced the quality they previously incorporated into there tires. Will not pass inspection in December and can't make it though the winter with them. And trying to get my local tire shop to even get replacements in have been terrible.

Handled great, wore evenly, no Green Tire Squishy like Michelin is known for. I recommend them. I used to run Coopers but a bunch of forums recommended the tires from the "fat guy".
