The stock tires on my Golf R were grippy but the you could feel the sidewall start to let go at high G's and that made you lose confidence. Keep you and your family safe, use Super pilot sports to avoid the craziness out there.

Had a full load 5 people in the truck. A truck can only do so much without good tires. Being a woman I wasn't real knowledgeable on tires. The Cooper Discoverer A/T3 has been a good choice for this, particularly in the snow.
