The stock tires on my Golf R were grippy but the you could feel the sidewall start to let go at high G's and that made you lose confidence. I have 15 mile roundtrip commute 4 days a week and have only been out of town twice (less then 600 miles total).

Put these on a 2013 Ram 1500 and they now have about 5000km on them. Love these tires ! Bought Colorado 4x4 in South Haven Michigan last Aug with tires already on it. I don't know the mileage exactly, but if I hit 35,000 with them I'd be surprised.

Yes there is a little noise from these tires. I have these tires on my 2015 GMC Savana and the same set was on my 1998 Savana work truck. Have a 2 wheel drive pick up but needed a more aggressive tire for the gravel and dirt road I have to drive on.
