Attractive Bird Feeders

Here is what I did. I just purchased the Backyard Boys fly through feeder. The feeder is, in fact, put together with staples. A coat of Min Wax stain (to seal the wood) and then two coats of polyurethane satin finish.

I got my about 5 years ago. Still love this feeder though. I had one for 5 or 6 years before I had to replace it with a new one. It's perfect! I love this feeder as it holds so much seedbut my squirrels like it too.

I've probably made 100 or more. Fleet Farm came through, of course. I ordered this last batch by mail because we recently moved away from Minnesota - to Massachusetts - and I can't find a local supplier.

This is the second set of two I have purchasedthe first set lasted 18 years!!

I was feeding jelly twice a day when I had a feeder with only one cup. With this one having four cups I don't have to fill the feeder twice a day.

It's perfect for small birds. But it holds them at bay enough that the birds get a fair shot at the seed. It holds a lot of seed, and it does keep squirrels away for the most part; although nothing entirely works to keep squirrels out.

I love the North States brand. They always thrill the gift receiver!!! Quality construction made in the USA for less than $20 can't be beat - and they're adorable! Expectations! Super price, nice size, and seem very durable.

The cleaning mops were so old the foam bristles had yellowed.

I suspect raccoons tried to get to the hanging feeder. I had a previous gazebo style feeder that lasted for about 50 years.I was expecting more from this product. I built a wooden one.

I needed another since the hummers arrived...so I ordered it from Mills and I am very happy Locally, these window feeders are not available even through Lowes. I always purchased them a Mills Fleet and Farm in Mason City, Iowa, when I am home visiting...
