Alternanthera

It grows just as quickly and vigorously as other Alternanthera varieties, but remains compact and dense, a lovely stand-alone in containers as well as a foreground and underplanting in mixed combos.

These tender tropicals are great for shadier areas preferring midday and afternoon shade or light shade all day. Party Time Alternanthera may periodically produce small white Gomphrena-like flowers.
